Francisco Pradilla y Ortiz (1848-1921), Spanish painter who studied in Rome and specialized in scenes from folk life. He was admitted to the Académie des Beaux-Arts in 1894 and was awarded the Order Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts in 1897. Multi-figure market scene, watercolor on paper, signed and dated ''F.
