Dessert plate ''Old Berlin'' with rose decor. Porcelain. KPM Berlin. Decorative design by Heinrich Vogeler (1872-1942) 1905. Round, the mirror with golden rose petal house painting, the flag with wide gold rim, underneath underglaze blue scepter mark as well as inscribed H.V.W with coat of arms in blue, press marks 2 u. further, dm. 15 cm.- In the production catalog of KPM the service, to which the plate belongs, is not mentioned. The painting was commissioned by Vogeler and produced in a small edition by the company Raabe, Bremen. Heinrich Vogeler, exhibition cat. Tokyo, Onomichi, Osaka, 2000-2001, fig. 161, p. 150.
