Marcks, Gerhard. 1889 Berlin - 1981 Burgbrohl. Combing hair. 1944. bronze, patinated. Monogrammed on the base, on the back of the base foundry mark Guss Barth Rinteln as well as numbered 7/10, Rudloff 442, 40.7 x 11 x 10.5 cm.- The plaster model created in 1944 was revised by the artist in 1970 and cast by the foundry Barth Rinteln in an edition of 10 copies.- Provenance: Private collection Bremen.
