Illustrated poem in book form. 1927. 12 pen-and-ink drawings/paper, 14 x 12 cm, laid down on light cardboard and signed and dated there lower right Strempel 1927 as well as numbered upper right in Latin, between them 12 handwritten text pages with lines of the satirical-social-critical ballad of the poet Frank Wedekind (1864-1918), bound by Strempel in cardboard binding with newspaper clippings collaged and titled Brigitte B Wedekind, endpaper titled as well as dedicated ''to my little friend Cy(?) Christmas in the ''Vagabond Year'' 1927 Horst Strempel'', later bound again, endpaper inscribed by the artist in ballpoint pen Werkkatalog Zeichnungen Cat. No. 131 and ''for Cy, 1973 H. Strempel'', 27 x 21.3 cm.- Strempel attended the State Academy of Arts and Crafts Breslau 1923-1927, where he studied with Otto Mueller and Oskar Moll. In 1927 he continued his studies in Berlin under Karl Hofer and exhibited at the Great Berlin Art Exhibition.
