Oil/canvas, signed Ströver as well as inscribed lower right, 89 x 60.5 cm, paint loss at right margin, unframed.- In 1893 Ida Ströver began her artistic training at the Ladies' Academy of the Munich Artists' Association, where she also produced nude studies. 1906-1930 she lived in Bremen and exhibited regularly in the Bremen Kunsthalle.
