The jewelry department will start on Wednesday morning from 10 am with more than 500, mostly moderately prized pieces. Among them are classic and modern gold and silver jewelry as well as delicate pearl jewelry, and antique Etruscan gold jewelry (lots 28-34). For those who want to show off their impressive size, we recommend a platinum ring with a more than 6-carat diamond (Lot 124, limit € 30000) and a diamond-studded Rolex GMT-Master 2 for your own wrist (Lot 446, Limit 18500 €). Following a selection of wristwatches and pocket watches, a collection of about 160 coins will be available.

The silver section starts with a large centerpiece in the form of a trunk on which a doe rests. For the eccentric piece at least 1800 € are expected (lot 770). Followed by a splendidly preserved Austrian Besammintower from 1862 (lot 771, limit 2200 €). Another showpiece is a gilded Rococo lidded cup with a tenant stamp by Julien Alaterre (1768-1774) (lot 776, limit 7500 €). Even earlier, the Augsburg snake skin cup dates from around 1685 and starts at € 1400 (lot 845). Among the paintings of old and new masters are some pieces that deserve a special mention. So the wonderful view of the “Brocken” from the hand of Dahl pupil Ernst Helbig (1802-1866) (Lot 1230), or the extremely dense composition of the important Indonesian artist and renovator of the Balinese painting Ida Bagus Made Togog (1913-1989) (Lot 1357). A Chinese porcelain tower shows a painting of the 18th century, which possibly comes from the environment of the Italian Vedutenmalers Antonio Joli de Dipi (1700-1777) (lot 1360). Friedrich Kallmorgen (1856-1924) contributes to a port of Hamburg (lot 1367), while a painter not yet identified around 1850 introduces us to the Roman Basilica San Clemente al Laterano abducted (lot 1444). Prussian collectors will be delighted with Hugo Ungewitters (1869-1947) "petition", which shows Frederick II on horseback (lot 1487). Among the old masters stands out a secured and recorded work by the Dutchman Jan Wynants (1632-1684) (lot 1426). Topless among the modern works is the untitled work of the important Mexican painter Gunther Gerzso Wendland (1915-2000), which goes into the race as lot 1674 with 35000 €. Austrian artists are surprisingly well represented in this catalog. Among them is a great work by the contemporary painter Hubert Schmalix (b. 1952), whose "Weinrebe" from 2003 should bring at least € 7500 (lot 1672). The prints and drawings begin with a large drawing by Otto Pankok, which shows a drinker at the tavern table and is proclaimed at 3000 € (lot 1680). In general, a pleasing number of drawings have found room in this catalog, which have been rated very moderately throughout. Including a harem scene of the French Orientalist Hippolyte Omer Ballue (1820-1867) (Lot 1799, 180 €), a sensitive portrait of the lady of the French François Gabriel Guillaume Lepaulle (1804-1886) (lot 1803, 250 €), and several Lots by Charles Théodore Sauvageot (1826-1883), a representative of the Barbizon School. Prints from Baumeister to Mattheuer, from Max Ernst to Hundertwasser complete the extensive product range. A Bordeaux-red vase with fine paintings from the house of Sévres is the debut of the more than 600 objects comprehensive porcelain department. At least 1500 € will be due here (lot 2000). Another highlight is certainly the wonderful, albeit new, Casanova Tabatière from Meissen, which was limited to 50 copies issued (1200 €, Lot 2022). Strikingly numerous services can be found in the catalog, as well as unusual porcelain clocks. So the big French pendulum with a thoughtful flora (lot 2561, limit 1900 €), or a figurative Art Déco table clock from the House of Nymphenburg with a kneeling Chinese woman as a watch holder (Lot 2436, limit 4500 €). Picasso contributes a ceramic plate with scratched male face from Edition Madoura, which starts at 5200 € (Lot 2452). Friends of modern Murano glass will find it in lots 2829, 2835, 2840 or 2842, behind which are various designs for Venini. Of the almost 150 wall clocks and table clocks, an impressive oriental equestrian pendulum should not go unmentioned. The splendid bronze of an oriental rider rises on a rising horse over a black bronze-mounted base (lot 3568). The 8000 € limit seem appropriate in view of its height of about one meter.

A rather inconspicuous gem among the sculptures, could grow to a surprise. The depiction of the Russian Tsar Peter the Great in the storm on Lake Ladoga is of great rarity and starts here at only 1000 € (lot 3702). From the Parisian foundry "Rolland" comes a group of satyrs to Clodion, on which also the Ciseleur "H. Vissac "has signed, who made this the enchanting figure perfect in every detail. At least 950 € are due here (lot 3757). From the Varia section, with its exciting potpourri of collector's items of various stripes, from which a collection of regimental steins stands out as well as a pair of Delft percussion guns of the 19th century with carved ebony stock (4354, limit 8000 €), became the Asiatica department excluded. This offers about 230 lots a wide range of Indian paintings of the 19th century, about Chinese porcelain to curiosities, such as an ivory dragon boat with courtly Figurenstaffage (lot 4824, limit € 900). The grand final is, as always, the furniture, in which it should be noted that they are only on two days (April 13 and 14) in Mühlenbeck to visit. Likewise, some pieces are in an inaccessible outdoor warehouse, so that a visit is only possible via photos.
